The Club has a great range of facilities available to club members. As well as the meeting area there is a Faceting room, a Cabochon room and a Jewellery room. Members can also use the small but detailed library with books and magazines covering all aspects of Lapidary.

The Faceting room is equipped with ten faceting machines suitable for beginners through to competition cutters. There is a small trim saw, laps and cutting compounds suitable for cutting almost all gems.


The Cabochon room a full range of grinders, sanders, drum sanders and polishing discs. There is an opal saw and a flat lapping table.

The jewellery room is equipped with 6 workstations, kilns for casting and enamelling, polishers, a rolling mill, a lost wax casting centrifuge and a high speed tool for carving.


In addition to this equipment there is a trim saw, slab saw and a massive 20 inch saw.
